Colin Archer, Owner

I respect the honesty and integrity in the work I do. It keeps me grounded, focused and realistic in my approach to life. As a carpenter I love to build spaces and products with my hands for people to enjoy. As a designer I admire the beauty of well crafted, efficiently designed products. As a contractor I'm motivated by a team that works well together and produces high quality results. As a company owner I'm inspired when bettering the surroundings of my clients lives and forming positive experiences with everyone. This is who I am and for these reasons I'm proud to co-run a special Seattle based company called Archer Smith.

Shane Smith, Owner

I have always been a builder. My dad was a builder; he owned and operated a commercial framing company. I loved working with him every summer. I looked forward to it all year. When I was old enough I took a full time job framing residential developments, building became a real career. When I decided to go to college I worked with a couple of small residential remodel contractors because the hours were more flexible. I really enjoy remodeling because every project is unique and there is a lot more problem solving and creative thinking. After college I was ready to do more. I wanted to build a business of my own. Colin was the ideal person to team up with. We share the same work ethic and priorities. Now we are building a reputation and a business we are very proud of.

Sam, Carpenter

Hey, it’s your boy, Sam - born in the Seattle area and never left. My personality is bad puns and dad jokes. I enjoy puzzle games and competition. This job brings me joy knowing that I built a structure with own hands. I can’t wait to make your visions become a reality!

Julian, Carpenter

Howdy, I’m Julian by birth, but folks call me Jhan. I moved here from Michigan 5 years ago and I’ve loved living and working here ever since. I get to see dogs on the jobs sometimes and it makes me happy, just as how watching kitchen nightmares and chilling on the couch does. I love to work, but in my free time I’m a homebody so I usually either end up looking at and inevitably buying new tools for work or playing video games. There’s not too much to say about ol’ Jhan.

Spencer, Carpenter

Born and raised in the suburbs of Tacoma, I’ve made Seattle my home for the last seventeen years as my heart belongs to the grey skies and the green woods of the good ole Pacific Northwest. I’m a down-to-Earth kind of guy that likes reading good books, watching bad movies, and nerding out on topics of history that I imagine most others would find tedious and obscure!

Luckily for you however, I’m not a history professor by trade and relish the self-actualization that comes with creating professional projects that will stand the test of time and look good while doing it.

Ask your doctor if Spencer is right for you, order while supplies last!
